He ended his earthly and met Je- sus face to face in the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE, af- ter being there less than 24 hours. A resident of North East, Elkton, and Ft. Myers, Flor- ida, he was born on May 7, 1946, the son of the late George H. and Dorothy L.

(Russell) Ashbridge. Ron graduated from North East High School and Goldey Beacom Col- lege. He retired from Ab- erdeen Proving Ground, working for the Dept. of Defense as a computer spe- cialist. He also served in the U.S.

Army Reserves. Ron was a strong and car- ing man of little words. He loved his family very much and worked hard to pro- vide everything for them. Known as give him anything and he could repair it for you. He was a good athlete and during his life enjoyed many sports such as water skiing, bas- ketball, volleyball, kayak- ing, cycling and hiking.

He also loved working in his or- ange grove with his father in Florida. Jerry Allen Bower, age 73, of Elkton, MD, passed away Thursday, No- vember 29, 2018. Born in West Jefferson, NC, he was the son of the late Wiley B. and Myrtle Bare Bower. Mr. Bower retired from James Julian Construction, Wilmington, DE, as a pile driver.

He was a member of the U.S. Bowling As- sociation (USBA) and the NRA. Mr. Bower enjoyed hunting, fishing, and had played baseball for Pine Grove in his younger years. Survivors include his children, Alicia Jones (Da- vid), and Jerry Bower, Jr.

(Tiffany), both of Elkton, MD; siblings, Tinker Pol- lard (David), Michelle Lo- gan (Rodney), both of Elk- ton, MD, Brenda Stevens (Jimbo), Terra Alta, WV, and Billy Bower (Theresa), North East, MD; grandchil- dren, Jessica Petersen, and Dustin and Zackery Hurt; 6 great-grandchildren; and his granddog, Toby Allen Bower. Born Jan. 23, 1940 in Sainte- Claire, Canada, Leonard was the son of the late Er- nest and Mary Catherine (Kelly) Brochu.

Leonard was a member of the I.B.E.W. Electrical Worker Local 351. He en- joyed going to auctions, antiquing, and traveling, especially to Florida and Canada. His most cher- ished time was spent with his family and friends who will miss him greatly. Leonard is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mari- ette (Boutin) Brochu; daughter, Karen Frederick and her husband, Mark; two sons: Leonard L.

Bro- chu; Bryan M. Brochu and his companion, Angie Hon- aker; and five grandchil- dren: Miranda Frederick, Marissa Frederick, Bryan N. Brochu, Matthew C. Brochu and Sebastian Bro- chu. Services will be held privately and at the conve- nience of the family.

Born in DE, on July 20, 1939, he was the son of the late John R. and Lena Alaya (Pass) Edwards. Prior to retirement, he was self-employed, work- ing in small engine repair. Many years ago he worked at NVF in Newark, DE. Mr.

Edwards was a for- mer member of the Dela- ware National Guard. He also was a member of Aetna Fire Department, Newark, DE; Water Witch Fire De- partment, Port Deposit, MD; and the Newark An- glers Association. Survived by his wife, Bet- ty Edwards, of Conowingo, MD; daughters: Dawn Thompson (Bruce), of Bear, DE; Lorraine Annand, of FL; stepdaughters: Don- na Deckard, Sandy Lloyd (Robert); stepson, Stanley Campbell; also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. John Randell Faulkner Sr. John Randell Faulkner 70, of Elkton, MD passed away Friday, November 30, 2018. Born in Wilmington, DE on August 23, 1948, he was the son of the late James and Gladys Farrell Faulkner.

Mr. Faulkner was a truck driver in the construction industry. A U.S. Army vet- eran of the Vietnam War, he was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America, Amer- ican Legion Post and VFW Post, all in Elkton. He en- joyed fishing and riding his Harley.

Mr. Faulkner loved history, including research- ing lighthouses. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Dianne Faulkner; children, John R. Faulkner, Amy L. Faulkner, Billie-Jean N.

www.rtfoard.com Barbara Anne Jefferson Barbara Anne Jefferson, 75, of Cheyney, PA passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. She was born on August 30, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Clarence John Branyan and Bessie (Harris) Branyan. Barb grew up in Phila- delphia, PA, and attended Northeast High School. She worked at Provident Mutual Life Insurance in West Philadelphia. Barb was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Fox Chase, PA, where she mar- ried Jeff while they were in college and went on to raise three boys.

She worked in retail for over 30 years and was sales manager for the family toy business. Barb also organized a so- cial club (PTS), where she was She loved the water and boating on the Chesapeake. Barb is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, George Jefferson; her three sons: George (Con- stance) Jefferson, of Ohio; Mike (Cira) Jefferson, of PA; William (Karen) Jeffer- son, of PA; four grandchil- dren: Stella, Nathan, Paul, Joseph, whom she loved dearly; sister, Linda (Craig) Leslie, of Florida; brother- in-law, John (Marion) Jef- ferson, of Decorah, IA; and sister-in-law, Betty (Ron) Levocz, of Chadds Ford, PA. Sally Goldsborough Lambert March 8, 22, 2018 Sally Goldsbor- ough Lambert passed away peacefully in her home, sur- rounded by her devoted hus- band of more than 44 years and three loving daughters, following a year long battle with cancer. Born Sally Carol Golds- borough on March 8, 1951 to Sally Steuart and Lt. Colonel Richard Hooper Goldsborough of Baltimore, she quickly earned the nickname that she would carry her entire life. Upon graduating in 1970 from St. School for Girls, she began her stud- ies at The University of Ala- bama where she was a mem- ber of Alpha Chi Omega sorority.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psy- chology in 1974. Snippy was involved in many volunteer and philanthropic organiza- tions including the Junior League of Baltimore, Junior League of Birmingham and she was active on the ju- nior board of the Birming- ham Music Club. She later went to work at Bayside Community Network for 25 years and was the Lead Manager of Residential Pro- grams upon her retirement in June of 2018. greatest joy came from her six grandchildren. She was an amazing and involved grandmother to Mark Hunter, Randolph Steuart, Hooper Goldsbor- ough Dabbs, Julian Lam- bert, Sophia Grace Tar- ricone and Riley Michael Bowles.

Her parents, Sally Steuart and Lt. Col Richard Hooper Goldsborough of Baltimore preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Randolph W. Lambert, of Elkton, MD; daughters: Sally Dabbs (Ja- son), of Mobile, AL; Randall Tarricone (Bran- don), of Peabody, MA; Ash- ley Bowles (Michael), of Elkton, MD; other survivors include her brother, Rich- ard Hooper Goldsborough Jr. and his wife Kristine, of New Freedom, PA; nieces: Leslie Goldsborough Stokes (Paul), of Marietta, PA; Zoe Elise Goldsborough, of New Freedom, PA; six grand- children, and her precious 120-pound German Shep- herd, Axel.

Services will be held on Friday, December 14 at Crouch Funeral Home in Northeast, MD. Elbert Leonard Melvin Jr. After a hard battle with can- cer, Elbert Leonard Melvin Jr. died November 14, 2018 in Elkton, MD, at the age of 57. Big or Bert was born May 17, 1961 in a non, West i i i a to father Elbert Melvin and mother Georgia Melvin. He was raised in a small loving fam- ily with one sister, Sherry Virgilio.

As a child, he moved frequently but always found an interest in cars which led to his career as a ASE Master Tech Mechanic. Elbert met his first love in New Jersey and was married on Nov. 28, 1982 and started their family roots. Elbert ac- cepted a position at Palum- Car Care Center which relocated his family to Elk- ton, MD, where they contin- ued to grow their family. El- bert lived his life raising five crazy kids who continued to grow their family with three grandsons, five granddaugh- ters, and many family pets.

Elbert was driven profes- sionally with countless hours dedicated to all his loyal customers and grew great friendships throughout the automotive industry with his expert knowledge and his honesty. When he was not working, he enjoyed taking family vacations, hanging out with his buddies, and enjoyed micro racing with his family. Elbert is survived by his wife, Ellen; his mother, Geor- gia; his sister, Sherry Vir- gilio; his daughters: Jennifer, Meghan, Kayla; his sons: El- bert III, Kyle; his grandsons: Nicolas, Nathan, Leo; and his granddaughters: Kelli, Bri- elle, Georgia, Penelope, and Brynlie. He is proceeded in death by his father, Elbert Sr. Carolyn Christine Neil Carolyn Christine Neil, 59, of Landenberg, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018.

Born in Wilmington, DE, on April 30, 1959, she was a a of the late a and Helen (Gutowski) Draper and her mother who raised her, Ju- dith Anne Draper. Carolyn at- tended Glasgow High School and Hodgson Vo-Tech, earn- ing her certificate as a Cer- tified Nursing Assistant in 1978. She went to work for Citizens Bank, formerly Mel- lon Bank on Main Street in Newark as a loan officer. Carolyn held a special place in her heart for horses and was a former horse co- ordinator for the Delaware Valley Point to Point. She enjoyed the outdoors, espe- cially gardening, boating and the beach.

In her spare time, she liked crafting and watch- ing sports. fondest memories were made with her family at holidays, pic- nics and gatherings. She rel- ished in keeping everyone on their toes. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her sister, Cynthia Draper. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, David L.

Neil; children: Sarah Anne Neil, Eric David Neil; brothers: Christopher T. Draper (Rhonda), Ste- phen Scott Draper, Richard L. Trincia, Carl F. Trincia (Linda), Brian Draper; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and her long hair Chihuahuas, Tiki and Dixie. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9 a.m.
