A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. from the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Oaklawn Cemetery. DOROTHY M. GREEN Gerald (Jerry) Stephen Swiontek Gerald (Jerry) Stephen Swiontek passed away in the early morning of 3 November 2017.

Jerry was born on 30 December 1955, in Baltimore, MD, and was a lifelong resident of Dundalk. He attended Battle Monument School until the age of 18 and worked various jobs with local people and businesses. Everyone who knew Jerry knew that he loved life and loved people. He is survived by his sisters: Judy Major, Stephanie Jordan, Mary Hustler, Dawn Blankenship; his brothers: Dick and Patrick Swiontek; as well as numerous nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents: Richard Swiontek and Geraldine Keene; one sister, Kathleen; and two brothers: Robert and Timothy.

A visiting period will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, November 9 at the W. Dabrowski- Chojnacki Funeral Home. A service will commence at the end of the visiting period.

Pastor Edward Michael of the Eastern Assembly of God will officiate. Burial, following the service, will be at Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery. GERALD (JERRY) STEPHEN SWIONTEK Garnet Marie Duty On October 30, 2017, Garnet Marie Duty (nee Coburn), passed away at the age of 88. She was the beloved wife of 64 years of Harold G. Duty; loving mother of Sheelagh D.

Purdie and Cathy M. Powell (John); and devoted grandmother of Timothy G. Pur- die, Kelsey M. Powell, and Garrett J. Powell.

She is the daughter of the late Charles and Viola Coburn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a host of friends from her bowling and water aerobics activities. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Gary Clay Gentry On November 6, 2017, Gary Clay Gentry, 78, of Essex, MD, beloved husband of Donna L. Gentry (nee Duncan); devoted father of Laura P.

Linthicum and her husband David, Bruce Gentry and the late Roy B. Gentry; loving grandfather of Evan Gentry, Jake and Joe Linthicum; great grandfather of Evan, London and Jasmine; dear brother of June Sheesley, Louis W. Gentry and the late Doris Gentry and Ollie Gentry; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will honor life at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel Cremation Services- Parkville, 8800 Harford Road, on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m,. where funeral services will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 a.m.

Memory tributes may be sent to the family at: www. evansfuneralchapel.com GARY CLAY GENTRY Port of Baltimore celebrates Grand Baltimora with ship-naming ceremony The Grimaldi Grande Baltimora roll off vessel was officially named during a ceremony at the Helen Delich Bentley Port of Fairfield Marine Terminal on Oct. 31.

The Grande Baltimora is a pure car and truck carrier vessel with a length of 656 feet, a beam of 106 feet and a service speed of 19 knots. The new Italian- flag vessel can transport 6,700 Car Equivalent Units (CEUs) or alternatively 4,000 linear meters of oversized farm and construction machinery and 2,500 CEUs. are very honored that the Grimaldi Group chose to name this beautiful vessel after our port and said MDOT Maryland Port Administration Executive Director James J. White. and ACL are long-time partners of the Port of Baltimore.
