Howard W.Taylor PARKVILLE Howard W.Taylor of a 27-year resident of Marling Farms in Chester, died at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore.He was 92. He was born June 12,1915, in son of the late Howard W.Taylor Sr. and Ethel Emma Bounds Taylor.He was the husband of Phyllis M.Walther Taylor of wife of 72 years. Mr.Taylor worked for as a purchaser in the printing department. He enjoyed spending time with his family.He was active in the St.Michaels Model Boat Club.

In addition to his is survived by his daughters and and James Burnside of Harriet Steahly of six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Daugherty. Services will be held at 1 p.m.Friday,Feb.15,at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A.,Owings friends may call one hour prior to the services.The Rev.Dr.Katherine Wadya will officiate.Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg. Leonard M.Cohey CHESTERTOWN Leonard Mason of Friday, Feb.8,2008,at the Chester River Hospital Center in Chestertown. Leonard was born Nov.30, the Mason farm near Centreville in Queen of the late Charles and Ella worked at the Glen L. Martin plant for a couple years before joining the United States Army.After serving his Cohey returned home and went to work for Bennett and Cohey Salvage Yard. He was a very active member of the Gideons.He was also a member of the Chestertown Church of the Nazarene.He was a very hard worker and enjoyed spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, Mr.Cohey was preceded in death by his Owens Cohey on Jan.10, E.and Wilson L.Cohey and four Ward, Virginia Oakes and Oline Fairbank.

He is survived by one son, Stephen Cohey and wife Tina of Cohey Walraven of Millington and two H.and Mervin R. of Chestertown. Services will be held at 11 a.m.Wednesday,Feb.13,at and Newnam Funeral Home, 130 Speer Road in Chestertown. Interment will be held in Crumpton Cemetery in Crumpton. Lloyd John Carter CENTREVILLE Lloyd John Carter of Centreville died at home on Monday, Feb.11,2008.He was 62. Born on July 7,1945 in West was the son of the late Joel James and Wanda Elizabeth Barker Carter.He grew up in as a teenager moved to Church Hill. He was a graduate of Queen Anne County High School in 1963 and served two years in the National Guard and later worked for ACME supermarkets in Centreville for 31 years. He enjoyed carving and woodworking and was a Little League coach. Mr.Carter is survived by his former Rebecca Ann Erhart whom he married on Feb.3,1967;a C.Carter of C.

James was born on March 16,1954 in Washington, D.C.to the late Frances Virginia Staples and William Sherry.As a child, he met his one and only Ann Robinson.

Born Jan.6,1924 in was the son of the late Joseph B. Stephens Sr.and Eva Elizabeth Lee Stephens.He was the husband of Elouise Barnett Stephens.

He served in the Army during World War II.He was a finance manager with Seaboard Finance Co. He was a member of Stevensville American Legion Post 278 and Knights of Columbus 1941 in Chester.He enjoyed and the outdoors. Surviving are daughters, Eva Marie Hamper of Cheryl Ann Huff of Lutherville; Joseph Stephens Sr.of Hampstead and John Andrew Stephens of Port Stephens of Rhoten of one great-grandchild. He was predeceased by a B. Jones.

A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m.on Eline Funeral Home located at 934 South Main Street in Hampstead with the Rev. Edward Stevie Stephens officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Gwynn Oak. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m.until time of service the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St.Jude Box 38103.
