Alice R. Bennett Alice R. Bennett passed away March 9 in Seaford, Del. She was 85. She was born Jan.

1, 1927, in Federalsburg, the daughter of the late Harry J. Collins and Myrtle Iva Fluharty Collins. She graduated from Federalsburg High School, Class of 1943. After graduation, she married James F. Bennett, who preceded her in death Nov.

5, 1982. She worked at Western Auto for many years as a bookkeeper, and later worked as a secretary at Maryland Plastics in Federalsburg. She was a lifetime member of Christ United Methodist Church, where she served in the Philatha Circle, a former member of the Noble Grand Lodge, an Auxiliary member of the VFW Post 5246 in Federalsburg, a member of the Federalsburg Senior Center and Senior Serenaders. She is survived by one son, Richard A. Bennett Sr.

of Hurlock; a daughter-in- law and caretaker with whom she lived, Connie Bennett Cummings of Seaford; and four grand- children, Steven Bennett of Stephens City, Pamela Flick of Clermont, Richard A. Bennett Jr. of Preston and Craig A Bennett of Cambridge, 11 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and four step-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, James F. Bennett and five siblings, Lester Collins, Lillie White, Woodrow Collins, Roland Collins and Hazel Murphy.

Services will be private. Megan Coulbourn Megan Allice Coulbourn passed away March 10 at A. I. Dupont Hospital in Wilmington, Del.

She was 15. She was born Feb. 15, 1997, in Easton, the daughter of Edward Francis Coulbourn and Kimberly Lynn Elms. She is survived by her father, Edward Francis Coulbourn and his wife Dawn of Federalsburg; her mother, Kimberly Lynn Elms and her husband Hank of Federalsburg; her paternal grandparents, Richard and Faye Coulbourn of Federalsburg; and maternal grandmother, Deborah Mohr of Federalsburg and the late Ronald Mohr, her grandmother, Betty Elms of Reliance; four siblings, Brad Lord, Taylor Lord, Emilee Coulbourn and a special sister, Taylor Elms; and her many caregivers, especially Hanna Short. She had a contagious smile that touched many lives without saying a word.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. March 15 at Framptom Funeral Home, P. in Federalsburg, with the Rev. Edward Elms and the Rev. Tim Wilson officiating.

Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery on Harper Road near Federalsburg. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. March 14 at the funeral home. Donations may be made in her memory to the Ronald McDonald House, 1901 Rockland Road, Wilmington, DE 19803. Richard Collins EAST NEW MARKET Richard W.

Collins died March 9 at his home in East New Market. He was 60. He was born in Cambridge on Dec. 2, 1951, the son of Walter R. and Emily Moore Collins of Secretary.

He was a graduate of North Dorchester High School in 1969 and worked for Bay Carriers in Federalsburg as an office manager. He was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church Reliance, where he served in several areas as needed. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Cathy Coulbourne Collins; a son, Jason L. Collins of Seaford, three daughters, Carol E. Hubbard and her husband Mark of Reliance, and Courtney A.

and Natalie J. Hurley of East New Market; three grandchildren, Anna Elise Hubbard, Pamela Alice Hubbard and Maggie Carol Hubbard; three brothers, C. Russell Collins of Secretary, Bruce L. Collins and his wife Wendy of Cambridge and Thomas M. Collins and his wife Gale of Secretary; a nephew, Walt Collins; and two nieces, Kristin Wheatley and Tiffany Collins.

A memorial service was held on March 13 at First United Methodist Church in Secretary The family requested that donations be made in his memory to either Cokesbury United Methodist Church Russell Wheatley, 7054 Whiteley Road Federalsburg, MD 21632; or First United Methodist Church Bonnie Laird, P. Ruth Fearins of Denton died March 7 at the Envoy Health Care in Denton. She was 90. Born in Baltimore March 21, 1921, Mrs. Fearins was the daughter of the late Harry D. Richey and Eva Mae Trice Richey.

Her husband, Dawson William Fearins, died Sept. 28, 1976. Mrs. Fearins lived in Denton all of her life. She had owned and operated the Kreme Kone in Denton before owning and operating the Family Apparel clothing store in Denton.

After the Family Apparel Store, she worked in the Denton Dollar General for several years. She loved her family, cooking, gardening, plants and going to the beach. She was a member of the Denton Church of the Brethren, where she was a member of the choir. Mrs. Fearins is survived by two daughters, Dorothy L.

Stone and her husband Ray of Felton, and Debbie Cowgill of Denton; six grandchildren, Brian Keith Cook and his wife Lisa, Allen Russum, Jessica Lane and her husband Doug, Michael Stone and his wife Jessica, Jeremy Stone and his wife Karin, and Mandy Cowgill; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Lou Cole, and a sister, Hilda Fifield. Funeral services were held March 12 at the Denton Church of the Brethren in Denton. The interment was in the Greensboro Cemetery in Greensboro. In lieu of flowers, Mrs.

She was born March 11, 1952, to the late Robert Jeffers and Betty Thompson Jeffers. Polly graduated from Easton High School and was a self-employed seamstress. She is survived by two sons, Benjamin Thomas Kibler and wife Allison of Norwood, and Robert Aaron Kibler and wife Ashley of Ft. Sill, two daughters, Lisa Christine Kubaska and husband Jeff of Annapolis and Katherine Ann Kibler of Worcester, two sisters, Anna Underwood of Las Cruces, N.M., and Robin Nickerson of Barclay; and six grandchildren. The funeral service was held March 10.

Interment was at the Greensboro Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Queen 255 Comet Drive, Centreville MD 21617.
